Top 4 Lessons I Learned from the Sabel Trail Pipeline Shooter
Here are the Top 4 lessons I learned from the Sabel Trail Pipeline Shooter
In case you haven’t heard yet, a deranged man opened fire on a controversial pipeline construction project in Marion County early this morning.
According to police and witness statements, a man began firing a “high powered rifle” at construction equipment and other project materials early this morning.
He then lead police on a chase – which ended when he pointed a gun at a Citrus County Sheriff’s deputy and promptly lost the fight.
Here are the top lessons that can be gleaned from this idiot.
Sabel Pipeline Shooting Lesson #4 :There’s a right way to protest, and there is a deadly way to protest.
America is the land of the free. Home of the brave. And unfortunately lately, it seems, home of the idiots who want to protest violently.
We were built on principles like the right to assemble, freedom of speech, and other principles that help form our beautiful republic.
Protesters are increasingly forgetting about the sanctity of human life.

Sabel Pipeline Shooting Lesson #3 :ALL human life is sacred. Put it at risk, and you’ll get put down.
All human life – regardless of skin color, sexual orientation, or political belief – is equally valuable.
Human life is more important than manatees. More important than endangered birds. More important than cooter… er… you get the picture.
Human life is much more important than any animal that will be negatively effected by the controversial pipeline build. The proper way to protest the build is not to put human life at risk by shooting.
Someone do us all a favor and remind the Black Lives Matter and anti-Trump protesters about the value of ALL HUMAN LIFE. Maybe then they’ll stop the violence, too.
Sigh.
Sabel Pipeline Shooting Lesson #2 :Don’t mess with the Citrus County Sheriff’s Department.
I’ve heard people talk smack about our local law enforcement officers here in the small and quiet community of Citrus County.
Most of those people turned out to be criminals.
All of us other folks out here know the truth: the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office is a wonderful organization with dedicated men and women who are absolutely outstanding individuals.
Don’t test them. You’ll lose.
Sabel Pipeline Shooting Lesson #1 :Its time to: Get armed. Get trained. Carry Daily.
People are getting more and more deranged.
Despite the best efforts of those of us who still believe in America, we are becoming more and more divided. Protesters aren’t turning to signs or words to protest – they’re turning to violence and evil.
You need to take steps NOW to protect yourself and your community from violence.
Before it’s too late!

A good criminal is a dead one!
Obviously this person who was killed is not a role model for effective protesting. You bring up the value of human life – I want to point out this is the precise reason people are concerned about this pipeline coming through our county. There are schools within the blast zone of this pipeline. That means these schools will be incinerated in the case of an accident / explosion, no amount of fire-fighting will be able to save anything or anyone within the blast zone if there is an explosion. Accidents do happen! Look up natural gas pipeline explosions. These Big Energy companies do not have your best interest at heart. We all need to educate ourselves and wake up. Yes, natural gas is an improvement over the current coal plant, which many believe was a big improvement over the former nuclear plant. But the path of this pipeline should have been ok’d by the citizens instead of kept secret until it was too late to do anything about it! Please note there are already existing sources of natural gas for that plant so there is no need to add another pipeline creating more risk of devastating accidents. If you really gave a damn about “the value of human life” you’d take the time to learn about the risks this pipeline poses to our families here in Citrus County.
Dear Andy,
