Description
Hogues AR-15 Free Float 12.5″ Overmolded Handguard is built around a 6061 aircraft grade aluminum tube with an anodized matte black finish. A molded layer of non-slip elastomer is applied to the outside of a portion of the tube to provide you with a superior gripping surface. The included free float barrel nut requires the use of a strap wrench or a Hogue wrench in order to ensure that it is torqued to a value between 30-80 ft./lbs. This free float tube is designed to work in conjunction with direct gas impingement system rifles using a low profile gas block. This assembly will not work with gas piston systems.
