Leave Your Levi’s Challenge: Its About Public Safety!

Levi’s & Strauss CEO: “Keep Firearms Out of Our Stores and Offices!”

On November 30th, 2016, Levi’s and Strauss published a letter all but prohibiting firearms from their location:

It boils down to this: you shouldn’t have to be concerned about your safety while shopping for clothes or trying on a pair of jeans. Simply put, firearms don’t belong in either of those settings. In the end, I believe we have an obligation to our employees and customers to ensure a safe environment and keeping firearms out of our stores and offices will get us one step closer to achieving that reality.

Sincerely,

Chip Bergh
President and Chief Executive Officer, Levi Strauss & Co.

We AGREE, Chip: We SHOULD NOT have to be concerned about our safety while shopping for clothes. But we have to be.

In his “open letter,” Chip says, “We should not have to be concerned about our safety while shopping for clothes or trying on a pair of jeans.

He’s right.

We shouldn’t have to be concerned while engaged in harmless shopping at a mall.

Here’s a Map of Mass Shootings & Terrorist Attacks in the United States Since the Aurora Colorado Movie Theater Shooting

Interactive Map: Mass Shootings Across America

Hey Chip: The video below is a terrorist who shot up a mall while people were trying on jeans!

Take a look at the video below. As I’m talking, the video behind me is the security camera footage of a radical Islamic extremist in Washington state running through the mall shooting at women and children “shopping for clothes or trying on a pair of jeans.”

4 women and 1 man ages 16-95 were killed in this attack.

You have every right to make this policy, Chip. And we have every right to make a stand against your policy.

Now announcing:

Leave Your Levi’s (.com) Challenge!

levis

Kudos to Ray Martinez to giving us this idea!

There have been terrorist attacks all across the country.

Obviously, we’re going to BOYCOTT Levi’s, but we are also going to do make a statement.

Here’s how the “Leave Your Levi’s” Challenge Works:

  1. Leave your Levi’s at a terrorist attack location near you. No attack location near you? That’s OK: leave a pair of Levi’s at your local shopping center or mall. Customize them the way you’d like. (Nothing in poor taste, please – this is meant to be thought-provoking, not anger provoking!)
  2. Leave a note in the pocket which says nothing except www.leaveyourlevis.com
  3. Take a picture, send it to us, and you’ll be entered to win an AR15. (WARNING: Gun chosen to anger liberals!)

What I meant was I plan on leaving 2 different pairs in 2 different locations, if that’s allowed.

I won’t go into a mall where they do not allow me to carry. However, how would they know anyway since my firearm is concealed.

I don’t own any Levi’s, stopped wearing them when the CEO decided that truck drivers were not the right type of people to wear them and pulled their product out of any truck stop that sold them!

Before I read about how Levi’s feels about the Second Amendment and our right to carry, I was 2 days away from buying new Levi’s for my sons for Christmas. (Approx 8 pair)
It now looks like Wrangler and Lee (jeans) will get my business.

Good for you! Glad you found this out. Let’s NOT give Levi’s our business!

I have heard of their Liberal bias beforehand. I haven’t owned a pair of Levi’s in 20 years. I thought I had a Levi’s shirt to leave but after checking it is a Wrangler, like my jeans.

I gave up on Levi’s a long time ago – when they stopped supporting BSA, I stopped buying Levi’s. This stance is yet another reason to not go back to Levi’s.

Didn’t Target also make their stores gun free zones? They do not understand this makes them a target for criminals. That’s why I do not shop there anymore.

After finding out there stance on the 2A I was going to fill a section of the pants legs with bean bag filler and make a couple of shooting rest out of them for all my gun loving friends for Christmas but leaving them in the mall makes a much better statement. Wranglers from now on. Besides the pocket note, any ideas on “posing” them? Paid way too much for them to waste this moment!

Stick the paper out the zipper area. At the end of the paper put one of those calvin stickers peeing on the word Levi.

Though I do not own any Levis I would be honored to go to Goodwill to purchase a pair!
This is a wonderful and PEACEFUL way to protest and not harm anyone, but instead help them!
I’m proud to be part of such a movement!
